Frequently Asked Questions
Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything you wish to discuss after or prior your treatment.
Is there anything I should do before I arrive?
It is best to come showered and clean, not only you will feel better but your body will also receive the most out of the bodywork that way.
I usually recommend eating only a very light meal prior to arrival if necessary. It is not recommended that you receive massage whilst under the influence of alcohol or when you suffer from any type of infection.
What should I wear?
For Hawaiian Massage:
You will be given a clean and beautiful sarong for the duration of the massage and you will be lying on a luxuriously soft therapy bed. If you wish to keep your underwear on during treatment it’s perfectly fine, just bear in mind it may get oily.
For Thai Massage:
Please wear loose and comfortable clothing so I can move your body freely without restrictions.
For Thai Foot Massage:
Please wear comfortable trousers so I can move your legs freely.
For Indian Head Massage and Deep Tissue Massage:
No need to wear anything specific
What oil do you use during Hawaiian Massage?
I use a blended mixture of soya bean, wheatgerm and lavender oils.
Soya Bean oil is very light, high in vitamin E and absorbs into the skin readily; wheatgerm oil also contains high levels of vitamin E, essential fatty acids and antioxidant properties and it improves circulation and helps in the formation of new cells; lavender oil is well known for its calming and soothing effects, it has good antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and rejuvenating properties among other benefits.
How do I pay?
I am quite happy to accept either cash or cheques, but I don’t accept credit or debit cards at the moment. I am happy to arrange a mutually acceptable exchange of treatments if you are a therapist etc. Please also do feel free to discuss with me if you are struggling with paying the full amount.
Are there any discounts available?
